Message from Mrs. Heinrich
Welcome to Logan School! We are located in a central residential section of Moline. Logan is truly a neighborhood school serving the surrounding families.
Serving as the Principal, I could not be more proud of our students, staff members, supportive parents and dedicated volunteers. They all make Logan School a very special place to learn and become great citizens.
Students have many opportunities to be involved during the school day and beyond. There are a variety of activities including Speed Stacking, 16th Ave. Singers, Contig, Spelling Bee, Boy and Girl Scouts, Dad’s Club, Junior Achievement, Summer Camp Logan, Family Nights, Carnival and Red Cross Club. We have parent and grandparent volunteers that run the Logan Pride Store, Santa’s Secret Shoppe and our Book Fairs. Many organizations give generously to Logan students and families on holidays and throughout the year. It is so appreciated! All these activities, and so many more, bring us closer to each other and unite us as a Logan Family.
As in the past, we continue to have high educational standards and high expectations for our students and staff. Our MAP scores show significant growth in Language Arts, Math and Reading. Last year, many passed their year- end goals. Our students shine in the classroom with an average of 40 students on the Honor Roll each quarter and 100 receiving a Good Citizenship Award!
Please do not hesitate to call with positive comments, concerns and suggestions. We want to work with you as a partner. Our dedicated and highly effective staff will help you in any way we can. Your child’s success is our success!
Again, I am grateful for your support and involvement in the lives of our students as they become our future citizens and leaders. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Principal. I love Logan School!
