Retention Policy

Illinois law prohibits social promotion. Students must earn the right to be promoted, instead of promotion due to their age or grade level. The decision to promote a student to the next grade level shall be based on a variety of criteria including successful completion of the curriculum, attendance, or national or state achievement test results.
