Waiver of Fees

The Board of Education of Moline School District No. 40 shall waive all fees assessed on children whose parents or legal guardians are unable to afford payment, including but not limited to children receiving aid under Article IV of the Illinois Public Aid Code or children whose parents or legal guardians qualify under the Illinois Guidelines for free lunch. In the case of textbook fees, such textbooks shall be loaned to students.

Parents or legal guardians of children enrolled in the Moline School District No. 40 who believe their financial condition warrants a waiver of fees shall make a written request with substantiation of need for waiver by means of a form to be provided by the district, Moline School District No. 40, 1619 - 11th Avenue, Moline, Illinois 61265. The student shall not be denied services or materials pending a decision on the fee waiver request.
