Library Media Center

The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

An important goal of education today is to teach students the use of resources and technology to develop critical thinking skills and to become life-long learners. The library media program, when planned carefully and supported by adequate staff, materials, collections, and instructional equipment, is central to the total educational experience by meeting the personal, informational and instructional needs of students. An effective school media program supports this goal of education through the collaborative efforts of library media staff and other educators.
