Drama Club and the School Play
Drama Club and the School Play
Adviser: Regina Thomas
Production: There is usually one drama production each year. Occasionally, the production is a musical.
Tryouts: Play tryouts are held before winter break. 7th and 8th graders are both eligible. Students must fill out an application and read a part from a play in front of a panel of judges.
Positions Available: Besides actors and actresses for the play, stage crew members are also needed. Props, set building, lighting, and sound are a few of the jobs done by the stage crew.
Time Commitment: Participating in the play requires about a 6-8 week dedication with rehearsals every night after school. A student wishing to participate must have no after school conflicts. Daily attendance is required!
For more information email Regina Thomas.
